GENERAL INFORMATION
When and where is the conference being held?

The 2025 NERFA Annual Conference will take place from Thursday, November 6 to Sunday, November 9, 2025, at The Desmond Hotel Crowne Plaza Albany, NY.

Who should attend the NERFA Conference?

Performing artists, presenters, managers, agents, music industry professionals, and anyone involved in the folk and roots music scene.

PRICING & PAYMENTS
What are the registration fees?
  • EARLY BIRD – Folk Alliance Members ONLY (now-June 30th at 11:59pm) $300
  • EARLY BIRD – Non-Members (now until June 30th at 11:59pm EST) $350
  • STANDARD – Folk Alliance Members ONLY (July 1st-Sept. 30th at 11:59pm EST) $350
  • STANDARD – Non-Members (July 1st – Sept. 30th at 11:59pm EST) $400
  • LAST-MINUTE – Folk Alliance Member (Oct. 1st onward) $400
  • LAST-MINUTE – Non-Members (Oct. 1st onward) $450
Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?

Refund requests must be submitted in writing. They will be considered on an individual basis. A processing fee of $50 will apply. Refunds are not honored after October 17, 2025.

What is the dress code?

Casual, with some evening events potentially more festive.

Are meals provided?

We will have a welcome reception and light breaks throughout the conference. Most meals on the responsibility of the attendee. There is a meal package for dinners that can be purchased. Details will be released in the summer.

Will there be networking opportunities?

Yes, including structured and informal events.

Is the conference accessible?

Yes, with ADA compliance. Contact us for specific requests.
