NERFA 2026 Meal Package Purchase
We are excited to offer several options for communal dining at this year’s NERFA Conference! You can purchase individual meals for breakfast buffets on Friday and Saturday morning, and/or dinner buffets on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
NERFA 2026 Annual Conference Policies & Waivers
By registering for and/or attending the NERFA 2026 Annual Conference, all participants agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Registration Cancellation, Refund & Transfer Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to katie@riggsand.com.
Cancellation Schedule:
- Cancellations received on or before Friday, October 9, 2026 will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.
- Cancellations received between October 9, 2026 and October 23, 2026 will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations received after October 23, 2026 are non-refundable.
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 14 business days.
Transfers:
Registrations may be transferred to another individual at no additional cost up to November 3, 2026. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing and include the new attendee’s full contact information.
No-shows are non-refundable.
NERFA reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the conference due to circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, NERFA’s liability is limited to the refund of registration fees only.
2. Code of Conduct
NERFA is committed to fostering a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all attendees, artists, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff.
All participants agree to:
- Treat others with respect, professionalism, and kindness
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behavior
- Comply with venue policies and applicable local, state, and federal laws
- Follow event staff instructions regarding safety and logistics
- Harassment of any kind, including verbal, physical, or online misconduct, will not be tolerated.
NERFA reserves the right to remove any participant who violates this Code of Conduct. Removal may occur without refund.
Concerns should be reported immediately to conference staff.
3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Participation in the NERFA 2026 Annual Conference is voluntary. By attending, participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to:
- Travel to and from the event
- Participation in workshops, showcases, networking activities, and informal gatherings
- Physical injury, illness, or property loss
Participants agree to release, waive, and hold harmless NERFA, its officers, board members, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, and venue partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or related to participation in the conference, except where prohibited by law.
Attendees are responsible for their own health insurance, personal property, and safety precautions.
4. Photography & Media Release Waiver
By attending NERFA 2026, you grant NERFA permission to photograph, record, and capture audio and video of conference activities in which you may appear.
These materials may be used for:
- Marketing and promotional materials
- Social media
- Website content
- Future conference promotions
- Archival and historical purposes
You waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of such media and release NERFA from any claims arising from its use.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify conference staff upon arrival and make reasonable efforts to avoid designated photography areas.
5. Media Policy
NERFA welcomes coverage of the conference that supports and uplifts the folk community.
Credentialed Media:
Members of the press must request media credentials in advance and receive written approval from NERFA prior to the event.
Recording & Distribution:
Attendees may not record, livestream, broadcast, or commercially distribute performances, workshops, or private showcases without express written permission from both NERFA and the performing artist(s).
Unauthorized recording or distribution of performances is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the event without refund.
Use of NERFA Name & Branding:
NERFA’s name, logo, and conference branding may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
